Employment & Education Support assists Participants to build the practical skills, routines, and confidence needed to successfully enter the workforce or engage in study environments.

This service focuses on developing the ability to navigate vocational pathways, educational settings, workplace expectations, and skill development opportunities in a way that promotes economic participation, independence, and long-term career growth.

Support is tailored to each Participant’s learning style, employment goals, functional abilities, and aspirations, with a focus on building sustainable vocational independence over time.

Job Readiness & Professional Profiles
  • Creating clear, professional resumes and tailored cover letters

  • Navigating job boards, online applications, and tracking submissions

  • Developing workplace digital skills including email communication and basic software use

  • Understanding workplace rights, responsibilities, and professional boundaries

  • Completing onboarding requirements such as tax forms and employment documentation

Interview Preparation & Workplace Confidence
  • Practicing mock interviews to build confidence and communication skills

  • Developing professional self-presentation, body language, and clarity of expression

  • Preparing structured responses to common interview questions

  • Researching employers and understanding job expectations

  • Managing anxiety before interviews and workplace transitions

Study, Training & Coursework Management
  • Creating weekly study schedules, checklists, and assignment tracking systems

  • Developing time-management routines to balance study, classes, and rest

  • Building self-advocacy skills to access academic supports and adjustments
