Behaviour Support Implementation

Behaviour Support Implementation is a specialised service focused on the practical, day-to-day application of Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) within the Participant’s real-world environments. Working collaboratively with behaviour support practitioners, families, and key support networks, our team helps ensure recommended strategies are implemented consistently across daily routines and settings.

This service uses person-centred, non-restrictive, and evidence-informed approaches to reduce the impact of behaviours of concern while promoting safety, stability, and improved quality of life. The focus is on understanding underlying needs, reducing environmental stressors, and supporting positive behavioural outcomes that uphold the Participant’s dignity and autonomy.

Our support workers are trained to identify early environmental and emotional triggers, apply proactive support and de-escalation strategies, and strengthen the Participant’s ability to communicate needs in safe and effective ways.
